Vans 'Expansion Tour' Experiential
This speculative experiential campaign was created during my time at The One Club for Creativity's One School, where it earned Honors upon graduation. The brief challenged us to evolve the Vans brand by reaching new audiences without alienating the loyal community that made it iconic. Rather than relying on traditional retail or advertising, I identified music festivals as the ideal environment to authentically connect with the next generation of Vans consumers.
I developed the Vans Expansion Tour, a traveling experiential activation designed to meet fans where culture is already happening—festivals like Coachella, Something in the Water, Made in America, and beyond. The experience combined skate culture, live music, interactive installations, custom merchandise, artist collaborations, and social-first moments into one cohesive brand ecosystem. Every touchpoint was designed to feel unmistakably Vans while inviting new audiences to experience the brand through creativity, self-expression, and community. The project demonstrates my approach to experiential design: building immersive brand worlds that create meaningful cultural relevance rather than simply marketing products.
